Blue Skies and White Puffy Clouds on a Tree Tuesday!
Well Hello Friends!
I hope you are all having an enjoyable Tree Tuesday! Yes tree Tuesday was started by the OldGuy too many years ago. Not prizes involved, just a good reason to put up some tree photos!
We are all blue skies and white puffy clouds here. Oh did I mention a fair bit of sunshine as well! As the OldGuy like to rate it, "Not too shabby!" 😀
So on to the trees then.
Now this tree looks to be mainly green, yet there is an outline of red running along it in most places...
That is because on closer inspection, the red is due to the many seeds waiting to drop. The shape of them reminded me of the "helicopter" seeds our maple tree would drop when I was yet a boy.
The sun was so bright as I was taking these with my phone that it caused a blueish flare of light... I had to leave it in because it perfectly conveys just how bright it was, plus it kind of makes me smile!
Some decorate grass is going to seed.
It too is getting into the reddish seed game much like the tree 😆

Say it isn't so! Yep there were a couple of trees that were getting a head start on the autumn leaves!
Now I am not sure what kind of tree this is. Seems to have leaves like a mimosa as well as the bark type...
Of course it has seed pods like them as well
This pine tree is perhaps a Blue Spruce?
Not sure, but it sure does have a healthy amount of pine cones near the top!
This artwork always reminds me of the monolith in '2001: A Space Odyssey' lol 👽

This is a nice set of summer tree photos.
I believe the mystery tree is a Locust tree and the pods have sweet goo in the inside.
Funny I originally thought Honey Locust, but the truck and bark was not right. I bet you are right.

Happy Tree Tuesday! That is a boatload of trees you have! The one with the pod is a Locust, I think a black one. I cannot believe that you have leaves changing colors, but, I think it is probably just an overachiever!

It must be a Black Locust as it is certainly not the Honey Locust variety, which is what I first saw when I first thought it could be a Locust.
Sadly, I havent done much fun in ages. No boat, no kayak, no jet ski, no fun.
The honey has those nasty thorns! Now those are no fun!!
Silly man! You just tgrew a party at your house! And you helped move furniture! And got free food as a bonus!
Don't you have any kayaks left there? You still have the pontoon there, yes? Throw it in. You can use you new truck to tow it to the public launch.
Yeah I never seen those thorns, but saw a pic online.
Free food has been the best of it for some time now actually!
I am really worried about the pontoon. I have to rent a flat bed trailer. Not sure if I should put it on the boat hoist till I am living there. Always just more worries.
I actually have no idea the cost of a pontoon boat and if it is worth selling it there and replacing it with another one once you settle on the lake. Of course, as I said, I have no idea what I am talking about, but, renting a flatbed trailer for all those miles may offset the need for it for now. Will you be able to drop it in once you get there? Or do they require that you live there to do that?
I had a honey locust tree in Southern Alabama AKA the Florida Panhandle.

Random tree story!
The house two doors down growing up had a huge pine tree. It was chosen to be the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree 🎄 one year in the nineties.
