Monomad challenge - Weather roller coaster

Title: Weather roller coaster

Almost all four seasons have occurred in the past two days. The prior week was warm throughout, reaching a peak of more than 20 degrees Celsius. That lovely weather totally changed yesterday. I overlooked to shut the blinds, while the morning began with a downpour that poured heavily down the window and mosquito net.

The temperature fell even further, and light rain started after a brief downpour. I immediately left for the yard to move previously cut wood out of the rain.

After that we literally spent the whole day in the house. The next day we were greeted by snow.

Many plants and trees have already started to bloom or at least open their buds. Such sudden temperature changes followed by frost and snow will certainly not favor the fruit trees.

Since the snow stopped falling, we decided to go for a walk. We headed to my favorite place to walk, the pond near where we live, to pick some pampas grass. While my better half was gathering pampas grass, I was taking pictures of mushrooms and the snow that had not yet gone.

On the way back I saw an owl.

Or two :).

As I write, the snow has largely melted and the forecast indicates an improvement in weather conditions.
