Monomad challenge - City bandits
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: City bandits
These bandits can be found in almost any city or town in the world. They mostly hide from predators among bushes and shrubbery. The house sparrow, along with the pigeon, is one of the most common birds that connect their habitat to the human environment.
Although they typically eat a variety of seeds and insects, they are accustomed to eating a variety of leftovers from human meals in cities, mostly bread and pastries.
They are very social birds and build nests colonially, often under eaves or in various cavities in buildings.
This gang is a regular sight in the town square. They mostly hang out in the bushes close to bakeries and popcorn stands. They will certainly find leftover food there practically every day.
People typically leave part of their food close to the bushes, and if they can't find it there, they can look in the nearby trash containers.
Since they are accustomed to people around them, they let them approach rather closely.

The bird you photographed is very nice.
Thanks. It is a very nice bird that is a great model for bird photography considering the fact that it is accustomed to people.
Yay! 🤗

Such cute little bandits :)
They stal food from our dog when he is not looking :D
They are cute, but mischievous. Feed them regularly with some seeds or bread crumbs, and they will probably avoid stealing your dog's food. :D
Then more will come an steal it anyway :P Cheeky little pests :D
I still like them though.
Train your dog to protect its food. 🤣
