The picture here actually speaks volume about how things mostly turn out to be in face of reality,

This crucifix have been in my house for close to 15yrs and it actually has a story about how it came to be here .

Some years back,
My mum who was a strong Catholic,wanted to get us something because she actually travelled to another far state for a convention, and when she was returning back from church's convention. It was during the Christmas season too.
It turns out that she didn't really remember most of the things she would like to give to us ,
so she called my dad and asked him to give us phone then ,
We all were still very young though.

So my mum first asked my big sis,
She said she would like to be giving the money to buy Christmas things for her self , that she won't like the type of clothes my mum would want to buy for her..
They argued a bit but at the end my dad was the one that now have to promise my elder sister the money just for peace to rain🤭,
The phone was then given to my elder bro who was asked what he would like .
Then he mentioned a shoe and rosary cross.
Two of my elder bro were asked and one mentioned t shirts and bible ,
The other mentioned christmas tree and money to buy things he liked for the Christmas,
And it got to my turn,.

My friend that was with me was holding a crucifix just like this picture and his own use to shine light.
I remember he hardly allow me touch it and it mostly makes me angry, too 🤭..
.so when my mum asked, all i could think of was getting my own crucifix so i will show my friend i have mine too ..
That was when i told my mum ,and despite the fact that i was even wishing to get a new gown,
I just focused on getting that crucifix..
Lo and behold my mum actually refused to buy any of those things my elder bro and sis asked for.
But she actually did buy me the crucifix,
And i was soo overjoyed like ,my dreams come through 🤭.
At the end she later bought the other stuffs for my brother's and sisters at some nearby shop. And they were not really happy because the designs were not too fine to their taste 😂..

Nways 15yrs later mine is still here , were i hanged it ,even though its now old and all both it really gave me a nice memory too ..

Unlike my siblings gists thats were all long lost..
This crucifix still remain my best Christmas gift till now🤭.
