My first Drone flight.
Hello dear drone friends,
I've been thinking about buying a drone for over a year now. Personally, I have long been fascinated by observing remote or well-known places from above.
Once I had decided on the Potensic Atom SE, I kept an eye on the price until Black Friday and bought it for €240.
Details about the drone
The drone came with two rechargeable batteries and each allows a flight time of about 30 minutes. It also came with a nice black shoulder bag. This makes it easy to transport. The drone is very light and maneuverable. I'm currently still flying it very carefully as I'm a bit afraid of crashing. But I think that my flying behavior will become bolder and more fluid over time.
The first video
It has been very cold in Germany over the last few days. And it has already snowed a bit. I used this panorama for my first drone video.
In my video, we fly together over the adjoining woodland in my housing estate. All the gardens and roofs are lightly covered in snow, creating a slightly Christmassy atmosphere in keeping with today's first Advent.
I hope you enjoy watching.
Outlook
As I travel a lot with my friend @melonqueen, there will be one or two drone videos of our vacation spots here regularly in the future.
Next up is a visit to a quarry where dinosaur tracks were found and skiing in Austria. I think both landscapes offer wonderful opportunities for some shots.

Welcome to the group! I remember my first drone flight. It was more just a quick hover and low, slow flight around the yard. I was so scared of crashing. It soon turned into flying the drone even a mile or two away using FPV goggles. I still don't do some of the daredevil stuff flying through windows and such, but definitely willing to risk more for better photo shots than I was early on. Looking forward to more!

Gratulation zum Entschluß Drohne zu fliegen!
Guter erster Flug!
Soweit ich weis hat deine Atomic SE keine Drohnen-CE-Kennzeichnung (C0, C1, C2, C3 und C4),
somit vergiss nicht zumindest den Drohnen Führerschein A1 zu machen, (gratis online)
den du für deine Drohne ab 1.1.2024 brauchst.
Die Atomic ohne SE hat eine CE-Kennzeichnung C0 und kann auch ohne Führerschein verwendet werden. Desweiteren vergiss nicht eine Versichgerung abzuschliessen + Registrieung deiner Drohne bei Luftfahrtbundesamt (LBA) für deutsche Drohnen Piloten (für österreicher : Austro Control).
Grund dafür ist, einzig alleine, das du eine Kamera auf deiner Drohne hast!
Somit steht einem der Spaß des Drohnen fliegen nichts mehr im Wege! ( vielleicht einige Bäume..)
Inzwischen ist die Menschheit so, das bei Flügen sehr oft bereits die Polizei gerufen wird, und dann alles kontrolliert, .....
Jedenfalls wünsch ich dir viele unfallfreie Flüge!!
