Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the hive learners' featured post. Role models are said to be people or a person we want to be like. A person whose lifestyle we would love to emulate.

Over here, if you call yourself someone's role model, they say you are full of yourself, you boost too much. This talking causes one to not say it aloud, but deep down, one knows that someone out there wants to be just like you.

For someone to want to be like you, you must be living your life in a way they admire and would want to live in the same way. No one would want to make someone who is not living an upright life a role model, unless you want to be a miss-lead.

Writing this post made me wonder if I really possess qualities that will make anyone want to be like me. After a thorough check, I do have a few qualities people out there would like to emulate. In subsequent paragraphs, I will be sharing with you the few qualities I currently possess.

As a senior prefect in school, vice president of the youths, currently in a high institution, and departmental treasurer, I was privileged to be a leader on numerous occasions. Many people made advances and said leaders like myself are worthy of emulation, and I still feel special every time I remember.

I respect everyone I cross paths with, no matter their age. Respect, they say, is reciprocal. Don't disrespect a kid for any reason, or else you get back in full. Kids these days are something.

I, as well, appreciate a lot, no matter how small or big. I show appreciation for everything anyone does for me. This is a quality I think every human should have.

When it comes to accomplishing my dreams, I just can't let go. No matter the obstacles that may come my way, there's this saying "it's either I win or I win". If you give up, you lose, so just keep trying.

My hive journey is a typical example of my consistency. When I first joined the hive platform, it wasn't fun at all. Resource credits frustrated my life and I had to let it go for some months, then I fell back into it. Consistency is the key.

I had to learn how to tolerate people because of my bad temper. My bad temper is not something to be proud of, so I had to look for a way to hide that side of me. The old me gets angry easily and finds it very difficult to calm down, as then I can spend the whole day frowning and not talking to anybody.

I began to practice patience and tolerating others.You can push me all you want, I'd let it slide.

Many people are willing to follow my steps. Many people are put in power or given a position. If they don't misuse the power, then they take the position for granted.

I can say I am a responsible leader because every position given to me was handled very well until the day I stepped down for my successor. The compliments and cries of the people on the day of handing over and taking over will tell you how good you were while on seat.
