¡Les presento a Yoshi! | Introducing Yoshi!

Hola de nuevo! Hoy, con muchísima emoción, les comparto un nuevo set de fotos donde les muestro al nuevo integrante de la familia, Yoshi, el cual llegó a casa el sábado 6 de abril. Desde hace unos meses he querido adoptar a un gatito, he convivido con muchos a lo largo de mi vida y últimamente, gracias a mi novio, esa convivencia ha aumentado exponencialmente gracias a su gata, con la cual comparto bastante. Toda mi vida he tenido perros solamente, el primero fue un pastor belga llamado Blacky que estuvo 4 años con nosotros, luego un Golden Retriever llamado Dodi que también estuvo 4 años y luego una Golden Retriever llamada Misty que estuvo 10 años de la cual hablé muchísimo en varios posts, estos perritos han sido un gran apoyo para mí a lo largo de mi vida y los recuerdo con un inmenso cariño. Sin embargo, también quise tener gatos alguna vez pero mis padres no me dejaban por diversos motivos, aunque aún así les gustaban los gatos. Llevo bastante tiempo intentando convencer a mis padres para traer a un gato a la casa y aunque tardé bastante en ello al final los logré convencer, emocionándose mucho antes de la llegada de un gatito.

Les quiero contar como me topé con mi gatito Yoshi en primer lugar. Hace poco más de un mes comencé a trabajar y ese trabajo tiene que ver con conservar el medio ambiente y animales, ahí conocí a una camada de gatitos bebés que me dejó maravillada. Uno de esos gatitos se me montó encima y no se quería bajar, me lo quería llevar pero mis padres me dijeron que en ese momento no lo podía llevar a casa así que me planteé la meta de adoptar a mi gatito yo misma y comprar sus cosas. Poco a poco fui comprando cosas para gatos y ya estábamos listos para recibir a uno, no tenia fe de que esa camada que vi hace un mes estuviese disponible ya que son preciosos y asumí que ya los habían adoptado, porque había pasado algo de tiempo así que comencé a buscar en otros lados. No conseguía ningún gatito y a mi papá se le ocurrió preguntar a mi compañero de trabajo que cuidaba de la camada para saber si ahí seguían los gatitos. Para mi sorpresa seguían allí, así que con mucho entusiasmo fui al lugar y ahí seguía el mismo gatito que me buscó. Se me montó encima y dije que ese es el mío, me estuvo esperando todo este tiempo. Estuvo muy tranquilo en el camino a casa y llegó explorando todo a su paso.

Yoshi está muy feliz actualmente, le estamos enseñando a hacer del baño en un solo lugar, estamos jugando con él y lo estamos consintiendo bastante. Es la primera vez que tengo a un gato y estoy aprendiendo con él, cualquier consejo sobre cuidado de gatitos es bien recibido. Estoy extremadamente feliz de su llegada y espero poder compartirles más sobre Yoshi!

Hello again! Today, with much excitement, I share with you a new set of photos where I show you the new member of the family, Yoshi, who arrived home on Saturday April 6. Since a few months ago I have wanted to adopt a kitten, I have lived with many throughout my life and lately, thanks to my boyfriend, that coexistence has increased exponentially thanks to his cat, with whom I share a lot. All my life I have only had dogs, the first one was a Belgian Shepherd named Blacky who was with us for 4 years, then a Golden Retriever named Dodi who was also with us for 4 years and then a Golden Retriever named Misty who was with us for 10 years and I talked a lot about her in several posts, these dogs have been a great support for me throughout my life and I remember them with great affection. However, I also wanted to have cats at some point but my parents wouldn't let me for various reasons, although they still liked cats. I have been trying for quite some time to convince my parents to bring a cat into the house and although it took me a long time I finally managed to convince them, getting very excited before the arrival of a kitten.

I want to tell you how I came to know my kitten Yoshi in first place. A month ago I started to work and that work concerns the conservation of the environment and animals, there I met a litter of baby kittens that left me amazed. One of those kittens jumped on me and didn't want to get off, I wanted to take him with me but my parents told me that at that moment I couldn't take him home so I decided to adopt my kitten myself and buy his things. Gradually I was buying things for cats and we were ready to receive one, I had no faith that the litter I saw a month ago would be available because they are beautiful and I assumed that they had already been adopted, because some time had passed so I started looking elsewhere. I couldn't find any kittens and my dad thought to ask my co-worker who took care of the kittens to see if the kittens were still there. To my surprise they were still there, so I excitedly went to the place and there was the same kitten that looked for me. He jumped on me and I said that's mine, he was waiting for me all this time. He was very calm on the way home and came exploring everything in his way.

Yoshi is very happy at the moment, we are potty training him in one place, we are playing with him and spoiling him a lot. This is my first time with a cat and I am learning with him, any advice on kitten care is welcome. I am extremely happy about his arrival and look forward to sharing more about Yoshi!
