My Actifit Report Card: February 3 2024
Great to be back home from the trip to Esit Eket local government of Akwa Ibom. Happy to come your way again, hope I meet you all well.
Yesterday I went out of Uyo in company of other Christian brothers and sister to Esit Eket for the burial of one of our Christian friend's mother. As at getting there, the network was so bad that I tried Uploading my Actifit Report Card without pictures.
We worked throughout the night putting things in places, killing the goats and preparing it for cooking, slicing of the local delicacy call 'Affang', preparing the fufu that will go down with the soup, and other things.
This morning we were all busy doing one thing or the other before the burial proper.
It is such a sad thing to loose someone dear in death and when it happens, we in this part of the world do grief with the family members.
I took some pictures as time permit since I was so busy.

After the funeral discuss was over, the burial took place at her residence.
After all the stress, it was time to journey back to Uyo and we move in four convoy. I am now at home filling tired but fulfilled that I have done my part for the bereaved family.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blissful night rest, see you tomorrow.

Wow, you can tell she was loved and respected with so many coming to honor her life. May she rest in peace.
She was a mother indeed, very accommodating, hardworking and God fearing. People come from different places to honor her. Thank you for stopping by.
