First my compliments on your beautiful photography and artwork!

Freedom of expression was something that I really experienced on this platform when it was known as Steem.

And the freedom experience can be expressed within certain boundaries that are set. On the Hive blockchain these bounderies are quite flexible. Which result in a very wide variety of publications, indeed a result of the flexible bounderies wherein freedom can be expressed on this platform.

It's something I do like about Hive. Impossible for me to take in and review everyone of them. Sometimes I can laugh at a simple one image Meme post. And on another day I read an article and let it go through my mind, to respond at a later stage.

The given freedom of expression, as I perceive it, on Hive does guarantee diversity. And I hope it will stay that way.

Have a fantastic new year!

Greetings @oaldamster ,

I hope you are well.

Thank you for your kind words regarding the 'Icing'. ^__^

So true...the Freedom at Steem in the beginning was palpable...however as with Freedom anywhere there are encroachments until one day it is gone. Let's enjoy the freedom we have here whilst it lasts for it too has it's encroachments.

Yes..the diversity on Hive is amazing.

Have you tried Snaps...Peakd's short form posting. It is quite a novel addition to Peakd...rather like Waves or Threads. An artist could use it a bit like Instagram....hopefully someday...but for now I use it to post a photo of a work in progress and other things. Snaps likes to reward the posts which are treated like comments. Very simple to get started...Very intuitive as well.

Lovely to hear from you. ^__^

Thank you for your New's Year's wishes.

Wishing you and yours a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Abientotlater,

Bleujay

Thank you Bleujay,

Snaps I did have a short look into. And I noticed how it was different from normal posts on Hive. Might have a further look into them later.

Freedom of expression sometimes is misunderstood as 'no rules apply'. Or at least that is how I perceive that it can be understood through its bounderies. It's not chaotic as it would be if there were no reference frames at all.

Abientotlater!
