Spending Christmas Morning at Beach/ Phone Photography contest 92

Greetings,

How are you doing, my friends?

It was a great time I spent on December 25th at the beach near my residence.

I was sure that the crowd would build past a certain hour of the day. My plan was simply to walk for one or two hours, then head back home.

It was a nice day here in Cotonou when the sky was filled with clouds covering the city, not considered alarmingly, but like a virtual umbrella.

The sunlight will eventually win this battle and pierce the white layers of cloud. It was cool down on the land for the time being, and the wind from the Ocean kept the coast continuously cool.

It was the moment for me to capture this spectacular view of Christmas Day offered by nature to any visitor on the beach.

The morning was calm as usual, and I believe the previous hours of the evening on the 24th were so intense.

I guessed that people stayed home to recover from the party held the night before at the Ocean View.

--

The waves from the Ocean did not build high above the water surface. It was the perfect space to get your feet wet. I was not scared of the water running back.
Speed and current could not destabilise a kitten running one meter close to the area where the waves hit the ground.

This shows that the danger of getting swallowed by the Ocean was not going to happen on this special day of Christmas.

As you know, the weather and its changing of characteristics. The situation may very well change in the next few hours.

I kept assessing the situation to make sure that I was not taking too much risk as I took the photo in the closest spot possible, where the waves died on the beach.

Have a magnificent Christmas in family.
I wish you all a fantastic Holiday.
Now it is time to return to the city. The buses are starting to pile up on the roadside. It only meant that the crowd in this area would build very fast.

Thank you for reading this article.
Have a great week.
