Sky Partially Covered Beach Walk - PhotoFeed Contest - Black & White Photography Round 124

Peace,

How are you doing, photo hunters?

Are you still exploring to capture the beauty out there in the local environment surrounding you?

If yes, it means you are building skills that you pay at some point in the future. I must confess that I stopped looking for the special moment to capture on my camera.

I decided to change the situation by returning last weekend to the beach. It was a great occasion to reconnect to this place so familiar but missed for weeks.

My choice of black and white photos in this challenge is to show the contrast between two ways of looking at the same scene.

I hope you will like the photos I placed in this publication.

On my way to the next extreme spot of soccer field on the beach I came across this long coconut tree left on the horizontal on the sand by the Ocean.

--

Water could carry this massive object on the longest distance you could imagine.

I was sure that this tree was not taken from the beach where I took these photos. It had to be a place far from my location. I would guess 20 miles on the side of the coastline where the trees are tall and close to the waves.

I was surprised first, then I inspected the trunk for any mark to find nothing of value to determine the origin of this coconut tree root out and transported to this side of the beach.

I got another ideas that the Ocean tide should have been very to succeed to put this massive tree so far on the beach.

The presence on the sand of this long tree was not more than a week. I supposed that it was left there by the local fisherman because they were too busy to process this material for their fishing activities.

--

I would not want to be around when the Ocean brought this package to the beach. The Ocean waves are powerful enough to destabilize a person standing six meters off the point where the water falls on the beach sand.

Imagine now a mass of water so high above the ground that it can allow a long tree like this coconut tree to float. It is not finished the water running from the beach should have brought back the tree, but the current was not powerful enough to attract this massive object back.

This night event could be four days prior to my visit to the beach. I remember the heavy tropical storm that hit the city.

Thank you for considering the photos in the black and white share in this article for the contest. All the best to all Hivians who got their entry on time.
