Phone Photography contest 83: Acting Brave While Facing Ocean Waves

Greetings,

Beautiful day to you

How are you doing on this start of the week in October?

I hope that your weekend was fun. This last weekend was not so interesting in my City.

The weather kept playing tricks with the passion for outdoor activities. I got cancelled three times last weekend, the photo walk activities I planned with my friends.

It started all good on Saturday morning, the light in the sky showed the free access of the sunlight to the ground without any clouds to create a barrier.

The potential to receive water from the sky in this situation is very low. In a matter of two hours, the situation in the sky above town changed severely, and finally, the rain hit the coast for the rest of the day.

I would not like to say that it was a scheduled event from nature to demonstrate the superiority of the forces of nature over human plans. Still, it looks very suspicious to witness a similar event two days in a row.

The plans changed during the weekend, but the time was put to good use. My stories of the past photo walk adventure on the beach were still fresh in my gallery of photos.

I just have to tape in the folders to review the moments and the details of the actions that occurred to arrive at this perfect shoot.

I am glad that after two days of rest at home, I finally found the time to reorganise my photo gallery and discover these photos I took three weeks ago.
The waves were strong but not as high as they usually are on the coast.

I took the risk to come closer and capture these fantastic photos while my feet were slowly diving under the surface of the ground.
The fine particle of sand lost the battle against the weight of my body when the water covered the ground where I was standing and taking photos.

As you can see, the dark brown soil is looking so beautiful as the Ocean retreats to build the next waves.

It is very unstable to walk on this over-saturated soil, considering the weight of an adult trying to flee a massive wave coming at less than 20 meters.

I hope you like these photos, and if they bring back memories of happy moments spent with family in nature, I would love to hear from you in the comment section.

Also, if you have to choose one photo, which one do you think is the most representative of the situation on the beach, acting brave in front of the waves?

I last visited a Beach, I think, at least two years ago. But, yes, your photographs brought back some good memories of that trip! No plan to have any trip in the near future!

Thanks for sharing all of those beautiful photos. Sorry to hear that the weather forced you to change your plans!

@oadissin, I failed to pay out 0.231 HIVE and 0.031 HBD to reward 2 comments in this discussion thread.

My wallet is running low on Hive or HBD. I will try again later.
