Phone Photography contest 71: Unexpected Weather on the Weekend at Cotonou Beach

How are you doing, my friends?

Summer has arrived, and you certainly have plans to visit nature beauty on various location in your region.

If you have access to the coastline, I will strongly recommend putting your feet on the sand. You will be very happy, and your family surely will share the same sentiments

I would submit this first photo for the contest jury appreciation.

I was not available when the weekend started so the program to attend the beach was not a solid plan.

As you know, plan can change rapidly during the weekend, so I was happy to complete my tasks for the Saturday late on Friday evening.

The feeling to run on the white sand of the beach was bringing so many joyful dreams that on Saturday a surprise was waiting.

It was a terrible turn of event when I found out that it was not only possible to move out of the house because of heavy rain that caused the town official to close the main roads.

It was not the moment to lose hope about the afternoon opportunity and Sunday possibilities to sun bath under a nice weather.

My plan came to be a realistic option when I hit the beach on Sunday morning.
The heavy rain seemed to have impacted the level of the Ocean. I got the impression that high tide of the Ocean was the reason the water was so close.

I like the air quality on this morning and the small waves on the beach.
If it was possible to describe the first impression I got from the beach, it will be a serious change due to the previous day rains.

I could see on multiple areas the branches of palm trees that broke off and carried by a strong wind fell on the sand closer to the waves.

The white foam on the water shows the magnificent process of the Ocean to replenish his massive volume of oxygen while reducing the dissolved Carbon Oxide.

I was happy after this long walk on Sunday under a nice weather, slowly forgetting about the weather complication of the last twenty-four hours
