A Refugee from the Heat: Contemplating Seasonal Shifts on the Ocean's Edge / Phone Photography contest 85
Greetings,
How are you spending this beginning of the month?
The city is welcoming the change of weather with the plants transformation to fit the cooler month of November.
In Western part of Africa the general two season drought and rain alternate with some variation in the wind and the clouds coverage.
I noticed since November came the heat on the day time is reduced compared to October.
--
I just got the feeling that the days are getting cooler as the journey into November add days checked on the calendar.
Although the trend in this recorded temperature shows down curve with lower values, it happens that unexpected situation occurs with pick of temperature.
It was the case on this special day of Halloween celebrations in the City. I did not spend too much time inside the buildings, I went street to the beach as soon as I got time.
I could stay on the beach the entire day, because the wind from the Ocean kept the entire beach shielded from the heat produce from intense air condition used in the homes and leisure establishments.
I stayed on the beach, considering myself as a refugee fleeing the climate change that happening not too far from the Ocean. Of course, it doesn't look as terrible as I described in the city.
The feeling of walking on the wet beach sand and listening to the waves crashing on the ground as the wind blowing strong enough to negate the sunlight transfer of heat on my skin was perfect.
--
I was happy to be close to the waves at the beach for more than two hours. It was time to return home, and I was not afraid of the heated air waiting for me on the other side.

Have a great week
