THE 9TH DRR INSTALLATION REPORT

Saturday, the 21st day of June 2025, was a remarkable day in the Rotaract family of District 9142. It was a day when power changed hands, a day when the mantle of leadership of Rotaract District 9142 was officially handed over by the Magic District Rotaract Representative, Rotaractor Awo Kingsley, to the Unite for Good District Rotaract Representative, Rotaractor Ambrose Emmanuel, the 9th District Rotaract Representative.

The event, which took place at the Dome Event Center, Marian, in the city of Calabar, Cross River State, had in attendance several dignitaries from within and outside the state, members and non-members of Rotary. It was chaired by the 2025/2026 District Governor of Rotary District 9142, Rotarian Kelechi Anyanwu.

The day began with a medical outreach project offering free blood pressure checks, malaria tests, blood glucose tests, and HIV tests. During the event, there was a colorful display of the Efik cultural dance, and attendees were served some popular Akwa-Cross cuisines.

Indeed, it was a memorable occasion. Once again, congratulations to Rotaractor Ambrose Emmanuel.
