Man and the sea./ Monomad Challenge (Eng/Esp)

Hello family, how are you? How was your weekend?

I don't know if the same thing happens to you, but my camera and I have a pact every time we see a fisherman, we want to capture that moment. Taking these photos of these fishing artists has helped me break the barrier of approaching someone to photograph them. The first thing I do is politely approach them and start talking to them, learning their story, what they catch, how they do it, what kind of fish are in the area where they're fishing. After I gain their trust, I document what they do with my camera. Sometimes, while they're telling me about themselves, I steal a picture, or sometimes they themselves give me permission to take their photos without asking.

These two photos arouse even more curiosity because what is a young man doing fishing alone on Havana's seawall from a young age? I draw attention to myself and start talking to him, and he tells me that his father taught him everything he needs to know about fishing. I am surprised because there are still parents who, instead of giving their sons a cell phone to entertain them, teach them and educate them so that tomorrow they will know how to fend for themselves.

Hola familia como están, que tal de fin de semana,
No se si les pasa igual, pero mi cámara y yo tenemos un pacto cada vez que vemos un pescador, queremos captar ese momento, hacer estas fotos a estos artistas de la pesca me ha ayudado a romper la barrera de acercarme a alguien para fotografiar, lo primero que hago es acercarme educadamente y ponerme a conversar con ellos conocer su historia, que pescan, como lo hacen, que tipo de pescado hay en la zona donde están pescando; después que me gano su confianza documento con la cámara lo que hacen, a veces mientras me cuentan de ellos les robo un retrato o a veces ellos mismo me dan autorizo sin pedirlo de que les haga fotos.

En estas dos fotos causa más curiosidad porque que hace un joven desde temprana edad pescando solo en el malecón de La Habana, me acero y me pongo a conversar con él, y me cuenta que su padre le enseño todo lo que tiene que saber para pescar, quede sorprendido porque todavía hay padres que en vez de darle el móvil para entretener al hijo, les enseña y educa para que mañana sepan valerse por ellos mismos.
