here is my prompt about @mariannewest's daily prompt :

This heartland of village reflects peacful life of man in hearts of rolling hills to the north, and lies a certain mystery. Fields are the closest representation to gold, that is because beneath their lush greenery lies the bones of a network of old, forgotten battle trenches of a bygone war. After years people moved away, trenchdad ecounds silent remembrance of the village's great history. The kids play above, engraved with all of their stories that are on the earth below, they are oblivious. Occasionally, esoterics of the past find a way through—an ancient helmet, a time vibrated diary. Trenches and the village, though time has come and gone, remain as proof of endurance and, rather than thoughts of loss, they offer us memories of sacrifices made, the constant search for peace.
