Before ending this post, I'm really curious if you are like me and make this kind of mistake that I mentioned at the beginning of the post... and if so, what is a place that you missed visiting because of this kind of endless rush during your trips?
First of all, this is actually a really great reflection question for all of us. I, myself, had to take time to come up with my answer, which i cant think of one right now.
Still, I just wanna share my thought about it. I think it's quite challenging in reality to able to put your attentions into both "what's happening along the way" and "The destination". Because for me, before I start my journey (doesn't matter where or on what), I kinda already chose "how my outcome would be" from this journey. That would already kinda shaped my view and perspective on that specific journey and it would be kinda confusing to me to shift focus.
But that's the thing about life. You need to be able to have "FLEXIBLIBITY" in life, otherwise you can't really enjoy nor be in the happening moment right in front of you. To me, that's the key to be happy and appreciated in everyday life.
Thank you @gabrielatravels for nice brain's exercise in the morning! I love a good question which helps you reflected on your inner self out loud. :)) Hope you enjoy every journey and destinations may come your way. 😊
And I also love reading smart answers in the morning, ha! I've never thinked about it that way, but it's a fairly good answer that makes a lot of sense.
Perhaps that's also what happens to me when I focus more on the destination than the whole journey towards it but I do believe that with a bit of exercise we will be able to enjoy both things at the same time. Or at least I hope so!
Thank you again for stopping by and leaving a valuable comment. Hope you have a lovely weekend! 🤗
couldn’t agree more!
