Wednesday walk, to see Porta San Marco and the bench dedicated to eating disorders. (ENG/ESP)

Good evening hivers how are you? As I told you we haven't been well because my husband's aunt passed away this Sunday so today we decided to take a walk outside the house, for our evening walk we decided to make a special visit. We had heard that they recently inaugurated a lilac-colored bench, the symbolic color of eating disorders, dedicated to the fight against these disorders.

Located in a small but delightful city park that is near my parents' house so we went there. My parents live in Porta San Marco, this area surrounded by some small parks and avenues is very nice even if for my tastes it is too busy, we walked along the main road and some neighboring streets, in this area I really like the houses all close together and of various colors from gray to brown to yellow.

Some of these houses are really very beautiful and elegant others unfortunately are worse off. The park is located on a roundabout and in addition to the bench in honor of eating disorders, a problem unfortunately very widespread in our region with many people suffering from anorexia, bulimia and obesity, there is also a bench against violence against women, another very current theme. The lilac bench, in addition to having a great meaning, is also a very pretty bench that gives the park a more cheerful and colorful air.It was a pleasant and simple walk that helped us relax and also made us reflect on how a bench, however nice and important, is not enough to fight against eating disorders.

Well, friend, may the Lord receive your husband's aunt with open arms and may she be enjoying the holy glory. When going through this it is good to go out for a walk to clear your mind. Regarding the bench, the lilac color is beautiful and I see that the houses are in several colors and they are very beautiful.
