Little trip in the magical city of Lucca part 2

This is the second part about my trip in the wonderful city of Lucca, I fell in love of this city!

After our walk around the old streets we continue straight to another church, Lucca is really full of churches and religious art!

We started with the main cathedral dedicated to Saint Martin, this place looks so amazing even from the outside, in the inside they care about the holy face of Lucca an important relic and the tomb of Ilaria Carretto an important lady of the ancient times, it also contains frescoes and art by Ghirlandaio and Tintoretto and other important artist of Lucca, Siena and Florence.

It's a cathedral in romanic and gothic style , the architettura in precious marble make it very beautiful and the front of the church it's really charming and impressive. 

Than we continue our walk in the city center where we find another lovely church.  

The saint Giusto church, we don't know much about this church but it looks really nice. 

Than we continue and from one of the main street we found a big open space with a sculpture, very close to the old walls, we found it that the building you see after the sculpture it's the old main caffè of Lucca, actually a place opened only during special days than the sculpture is Vittorio Emanuele 2. 

After taking some photos here we went to the main square of Lucca, Piazza dell' anfiteatro, a old circular and very beautiful square, surrounded by colourful houses and may little restaurants.

This square was created on the old amphitheatres, that's why it have this circular firm, it's really a charming squar where you can seat and have a good lunch with a cool view. 

We ended our walk in Lucca in the big garden under the old walls, we were tired for walking all the old walls walk so we decide to just walk in the garden and enjoy some lovely corners of the city center while we come back to the car. 

I really appreciate this trip to Lucca, it's such a lovely city!
