Today is a day dedicated to cats, and I'm taking this opportunity to introduce myself and show you some photos I took of one of the new additions to the family. My mom @silviabeneforti decided to adopt a pair of adorable kittens, a mother and daughter, from the local shelter, a place always full of cats and dogs looking for homes. Today I'm talking about the youngest, but next Saturday I'll dedicate a post to the older one as well. The little one, like all small cats, is a real earthquake! She's just a few months old and is incredibly cute and sweet, but also very nervous. Her name is Spotty, but I often hear her called Baby Girl. I've already been to visit her several times, and every time I'm amazed by her immense vitality. She loves to play; her favorite toys are very simple: crumpled plastic cards to use as balls, a shopping bag to rush into, sticks, and other objects she loves to fetch like a dog! She also has other toys like fake mice and special cat toys. He loves to play and even annoy his poor mom, but he's still a little afraid of people and won't let anyone pick him up. He only lets you cuddle him when he's sleeping, and he's incredibly sweet! I'll leave you with some photos of him, and soon I'll tell you about his adorable mom. This mischievous kitten has already made me fall in love!

Hoy es un día dedicado a los gatos, y aprovecho para presentarme y mostrarles algunas fotos que tomé de una de las nuevas incorporaciones a la familia. Mi mamá, @silviabeneforti, decidió adoptar a una pareja de adorables gatitas, madre e hija, del refugio local, un lugar siempre lleno de gatos y perros que buscan hogar. Hoy les hablo de la más pequeña, pero el próximo sábado también le dedicaré una entrada a la mayor. La pequeña, como todas las gatitas, ¡es un auténtico terremoto! Tiene solo unos meses y es increíblemente linda y dulce, pero también muy nerviosa. Se llama Spotty, pero a menudo la oigo llamar Baby Girl. Ya la he visitado varias veces, y siempre me sorprende su inmensa vitalidad. Le encanta jugar; sus juguetes favoritos son muy sencillos: tarjetas de plástico arrugadas para usar como pelotas, una bolsa de la compra para correr, palos y otros objetos que le encanta coger como a un perro. También tiene otros juguetes como ratones de imitación y juguetes especiales para gatos. Le encanta jugar e incluso molestar a su pobre mamá, pero todavía le tiene un poco de miedo a la gente y no deja que nadie lo cargue. Solo se deja abrazar cuando duerme, ¡y es increíblemente dulce!
