Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this wonderful Lifestyle community on this lovely Wednesday.

Mis queridos amigos estuve visitando la linda plaza de Reina Guillermina en primero de Mayo justamente localizada, en doctor Portillo en Maracaibo, me encanta poder salir de mi casa visitar lugares y así investigarlos para conocer mucho más de la historia que en verdad es realmente importante e interesante para conocer el verdadero sentido de las cosas y origen de donde vamos también hacia donde vamos, sin duda alguna esta plaza siempre había querido ir a visitarla pero no había podido.

My dear friends, I was visiting the lovely Reina Guillermina Square on 1 May, situated on Doctor Portillo Street in Maracaibo. I love being able to get out of the house, visit places and explore them to learn much more about history – which is truly important and interesting for understanding the real meaning of things, where we come from and where we’re heading. Without a doubt, I’d always wanted to visit this square but hadn’t been able to until now.

Recientemente esta plaza fue totalmente pintada y aunque ya la grama este bastante seca deteriorada dañada complentamente por el sol me gusto mucho cada uno de los detalles que poseen dando un aspecto de realeza, a su vez poder conocer mi ciudad me encanta, sin importarme el sol y el calor cacteristico de las 10 de la mañana camine desde la facultad de medicina ya que estaba en un chequeo médico en consulta anual con mi ginecóloga para poder tratar mis males.

This square was recently completely repainted, and although the grass is now quite dry and damaged, completely withered by the sun, I really liked every single detail, which gives it a regal air. At the same time, I love getting to know my city, and I didn’t mind the sun and the heat typical of 10 o’clock in the morning; I walked from the medical school as I’d been for a medical check-up—my annual consultation with my gynaecologist—to treat my ailments.

Yo me preguntaba como era posible que estuviera aquí una estatua de la reina Guillermina yo decía no es posible, ya que no es de aquí pero lo cierto es que esta misma reina vino a esta ciudad también en este tiempo habian muchas empresas extranjeras provenientes de las Islas cercanas como Curacao y Aruba estas dicidieron invertir por este espacio, creando este lugar donde desde hace años se le rinde tributo a la reina Guillermina de los países bajos.

I was wondering how it was possible that there was a statue of Queen Wilhelmina here; I said, ‘That can’t be right,’ as she isn’t from here, but the truth is that this very queen did come to this city. At that time, there were also many foreign companies from nearby islands such as Curaçao and Aruba; they decided to invest in this area, creating this place where, for years, tribute has been paid to Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands.

Me llamo mucho el interés que en la plaza hay un gran tronco de árbol sembrado el cual esta pintado de blanco y tiene muchas coronas negras este es hermoso solo que es un tronco seco aún sembrado, también existen muchas flores trinitarias en el lugar estas flores silvestres que más se cuenten mantener en estos lugares debidos a las altas temperaturas del sol y estas también carecen de cierta cantidad de agua dan color, vida las podemos encontrar en distintos colores.

I was particularly struck by the fact that there is a large tree trunk in the square, which has been planted in the ground; it is painted white and has many black rings. It is beautiful, though it is a dry trunk that has been planted. There are also many trinitaria flowers in the area; these wildflowers are the ones most likely to survive in such places due to the intense heat of the sun, and although they lack a certain amount of water, they bring colour and life, and can be found in a variety of colours.

Por último fue un paseo realmente interesante que me gusto mucho llamo por completo mi atención sin duda alguna me encantó mucho, fue una mañana divertida para compartir con ustedes este lindo lugar así como también poder ir al médico y poder examinar todo lo que esta mal en mi cuerpo, sin duda alguna una mañana de un completo balance.

All in all, it was a really interesting outing that I thoroughly enjoyed; it completely captured my attention and I absolutely loved it. It was a lovely morning spent sharing this beautiful spot with you all, as well as being able to visit the doctor and have a proper check-up to see what’s wrong with my body – without a doubt, a morning of complete balance.
