Warm greetings to all my travellers from all over the world it is a pleasure for me to greet you on this Tuesday.

En la recurrida que estuve haciendo por todas las partes del municipio San Francisco, quise pasar por enfrente y conocer a mayor profundidad el paseo San Francisco, que lleva más de 11 años construido nunca había pisado para poder tomar las lindas fotografías, este lugar lleva su nombre porque le da la bienvenida a todas las personas que ingresan a este municipio ya que justamente se encuentra debajo de la cabecera del puente sobre el lago, muchas de las personas que vienen de otros estados pasan por este lugar ya que al estar debajo de la cabecera del puente, es lo primero que te encuentras después de pasar el puente sobre el lago es un lugar lindo donde las personas pueden tomarse fotografías en las hermosas letras del municipio San Francisco.

During the tour I was doing around all parts of the municipality of San Francisco, I wanted to stop by and get to know the San Francisco promenade in more detail; although it was built over 11 years ago, I had never set foot there before, so I could take some lovely photographs. This place takes its name because it welcomes everyone entering the municipality, as it is situated directly beneath the bridge’s approach over the lake. Many people coming from other states pass through here, as being beneath the bridge’s approach it is the first thing you come across after crossing the bridge over the lake. It is a lovely spot where people can take photographs in front of the beautiful lettering spelling out ‘San Francisco’.

Podemos ver un mini puente sobre el lago que hace la representación del mismo a su vez tienes las letras de San Francisco de este pequeño municipio del estado Zulia, qué es el más pequeño en la extensión geográfica y también el que posee menor cantidad de habitantes, pero sin embargo es un municipio bastante en progreso y céntrico ya que está acercanías del municipio Maracaibo, haciendo que las cosas no queden tan lejos para ir al recorrer este lugar me pude percatar que se encontraban haciéndole diversas remodelaciones.

We can see a small bridge over the lake, which serves as a representation of the lake itself; next to it are the letters ‘San Francisco’, referring to this small municipality in the state of Zulia, which is the smallest in terms of geographical area and also has the smallest population, yet it is a fairly progressive and centrally located municipality, as it is close to the municipality of Maracaibo, meaning that places aren’t too far away. Whilst exploring the area, I noticed that various refurbishment works were underway.

En la grandes letras de San Francisco se encuentra plasmado los lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad como lo ves la iglesia Santísimo Cristo que es una representación del municipio de San Francisco porque es una iglesia bastante hermosa, que le estaré profundizando en otra oportunidad a su vez otros lugares de mayor importancia, cómo la plaza Bolívar la avenida 40, entre otros lugares más este espacio se encontraban bastante deteriorados y en mal mantenimiento es por eso que quisieron darle un refrescamiento diferente, sin duda alguna tiene un una vista totalmente diferente.

The large letters spelling out ‘San Francisco’ feature the city’s iconic landmarks, such as the Santísimo Cristo church, which represents the municipality of San Francisco as it is a truly beautiful church I’ll be discussing this in more detail on another occasion. There are also other significant sites, such as Plaza Bolívar and Avenida 40, among other places. These areas were quite run-down and poorly maintained, which is why they wanted to give them a fresh new look; without a doubt, they now have a completely different appearance.

Al lugar se encuentra perfectamente ambientado con sus lugares verdes, con plantas ornamentales como flores silvestres y también palmas entre otras más que hacen que el lugar se encuentre bastante hermoso justamente puedes caminar también por el puente y tomar fotografías, ya que este es una especie de mini puente para tomarte las fotografías desde arriba y que salgan las letras de San Francisco, desde abajo se encuentra ubicado justamente enfrente del terminal de San Francisco en un lugar lleno de mucha afluencia de tráfico, por lo que agarrar algún bus no va a ser algún problema.

The spot is beautifully landscaped with its green spaces, featuring ornamental plants such as wildflowers and palm trees, amongst others, which make it a truly lovely place. You can also walk across the bridge and take photographs, as it’s a sort of mini-bridge designed so you can take photos from above, with the letters ‘San Francisco’ in the background. From below, it’s situated right opposite the San Francisco terminal in a very busy area, so catching a bus won’t be a problem.

Después caminé hacia la parte de arriba hasta llegar a la cabecera del puente sobre el Lago, no pude caminar más allá ya que el personal de seguridad no lo permite pero aquí justamente se puede ver la entrada al puente sobre el lago identificando con sus grandes letras, así como también todo el tráfico que se despliega a los otros lugares de la costa oriental del lago así como también a estados de Venezuela.

I then walked up to the top, until I reached the start of the bridge over the lake; I couldn’t go any further as security staff wouldn’t allow it, but from here you can clearly see the entrance to the bridge over the lake, marked by its large lettering, as well as all the traffic heading to other places along the lake’s eastern shore and to other states in Venezuela.

Por último me gusto mucho esta visita al paseo San Francisco y a la cabecera del Puente General Rafael Urdaneta, sin duda alguna fue un gran paseo y recorrido permitiéndome conocer cada lugar del lugar en donde vivo desde hace 27 años, muchas gracias mis queridos viajeros por leer y contemplar cada una de estas fotografías del lugar hasta pronto me despido hasta una próxima oportunidad.

Finally, I really enjoyed this visit to the San Francisco promenade and the approach to the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge; it was, without a doubt, a wonderful walk and tour, allowing me to get to know every corner of the place where I have lived for 27 years.
