Grato saludos mis queridos viajereros de todas las partes del mundo hoy quiero mostrarles el lugar de las ventas de cepillados más antiguos de la ciudad de Maracaibo específicamente ubicados en el sector Veritas.

Warm greetings to all you travellers from around the world today I’d like to show you where you can find the oldest cepillados in the city of Maracaibo, specifically in the Veritas district.

Recorriendo lugares de antigüedad de la ciudad de Maracaibo y que de alguna otra manera han influido de manera notable a lo que es nuestra cultura, uno de ellos son los famosos cepillados de Jesús ríos ubicados en el antiguo sector Veritas, justamente después de pasar el hospital de niños de Veritas o lo que era el antiguo instituto de la proinfancia ahora bien, desde 1930 existe esta venta de cepillados desde ese entonces ha atendido a todas las personas con deliciosos cepillados, ofreciendo deliciosos cepillados tradicionales, hasta la actualidad y a pesar de que su lugar se encuentre en remodelación, sigue totalmente activo para todas las personas.

Visiting historic sites in the city of Maracaibo that have, in one way or another, had a significant influence on our culture, one of these is the famous ‘cepillados’ of Jesús Ríos, located in the old Veritas district, just past the Beritas Children’s Hospital – formerly the Proinfancia Institute. this cepillados stall has been in operation since 1930. Since then, it has served everyone with delicious cepillados, offering traditional cepillados to this day. And although the premises are currently undergoing refurbishment, it remains fully open to everyone.

Justamente en una esquina, podemos encontrar la famosa venta de cepillado desde sus ríos desde hace 100 años se encuentra en remodelación y estos cepillados están funcionando justamente en la parte de en frente, mientras se realizan las respectivas remodelaciones del espacio que ha sufrido los grandes deterioros del pasar del tiempo se forma ininterrumpida, cabe destacar que podemos ver cómo esta fachada conserva cierta historia y arquitectura colonial de la época, en la que las ventanas eran grandes ventanales de madera ventanas estrechas, así como también puertas estrechas.

Right on the corner, we can find the famous shop selling river-sanded stone, which has been in business for 100 years; it is currently undergoing renovation, and these sanding operations are taking place right in front of it, whilst the necessary refurbishments are carried out on the space, which has suffered significant deterioration over time. It is worth noting that we can see how this façade preserves a certain amount of history and colonial architecture from the period, when windows were large wooden panes and narrow, as were the doors.

Podemos ver cómo el piso se encuentra en laborado en pequeños ladrillos, ya que es de ladrillo, anteriormente se realizaban los pisos con ladrillos rojos, ya que esto permitía cierta calidad ahora bien recientemente tuvieron que colocar un techo de láminas de zinc, puesto que el techo se había caído, ya que este está fabricado de palos de caña y barro, ya que era característico realizar el techo y las estructuras en aquella época con estos materiales, a pesar de que los cepillados esté laborando en el sitio del frente, este se vea mucho más moderno siguen conservando la cultura y la tradición de la ciudad de Maracaibo, puesto que la mayoría de los de los sabores que ofrecen de cepillados son variados estos son característicos de la entidad zuliana.

We can see that the floor is laid with small bricks, as it is made of brick; in the past, floors were laid with red bricks, as this ensured a certain standard of quality. However, they recently had to install a zinc-sheet roof, as the roof had collapsed; it was made of cane and mud, as it was customary to construct roofs and structures with these materials in those days. Although the Cepillados are working on the front of the building, and although this looks much more modern, they continue to preserve the culture and tradition of the city of Maracaibo, as most of the flavours offered by the cepillados are varied and characteristic of the state of Zulia.

Estos son los cepillados más antiguos y famosos de todo Maracaibo, también se pueden encontrar cepillados en el barrio de Belloso. Los cepillados «Cangurito» llevan más de 45 años en el mercado, pero los del popular Jesús Ríos son los más famosos de la ciudad; entre ellos, destacan los cepillados de mango, junto con otras innumerables variedades, cabe destacar que esperamos que a su debido tiempo, estos cepillados vuelvan a estar plenamente disponibles para todos en su ubicación original, de modo que podamos seguir preservando y promoviendo el valor histórico de nuestra ciudad.

These are the oldest and most famous cepillados in the whole of Maracaibo; cepillados can also be found in the Belloso neighbourhood. The ‘Cangurito’ cepillados have been on the market for over 45 years, but those made by the popular Jesús Ríos are the most famous in the city; among them, the mango cepillados stand out, along with countless other varieties; It is worth noting that we hope that, in due course, these cepillados will once again be fully available to everyone at their original location, so that we can continue to preserve and promote the historical value of our city.
