Tú ves la reciente oportunidad de visitar el famoso Cerrito del amor, que es un lugar muy emblemático del barrio donde yo vivo esta variada se encuentra justamente situada a orilla del Lago de Maracaibo donde el viento sopla fuertemente y no avisa donde los amaneceres, atardeceres son totalmente fantástico un lugar favorito y preferido por muchas personas que tienen a visitarlos, para llenarse de toda una postal fantástica la mayoría de las personas que viven por aquí cerca en algún momento, han podido disfrutar del momento en cuando sale el sol o cuando se oculta.

You’ve seen the recent opportunity to visit the famous Cerrito del Amor, which is a very iconic spot in the neighbourhood where I live. It’s situated right on the shores of Lake Maracaibo, where the wind blows strongly and without warning, and where the sunrises and sunsets are absolutely fantastic – a favourite spot for many people who visit it, to take in a truly picture-postcard view. Most people who live nearby have, at some point, been able to enjoy the moment when the sun rises or sets.

Curiosamente este lugar se llama Cerrito del Amor puesto que muchas de las chicas del liceo, que está cercano a este lugar se escapaban con los chicos a poder venir al sitio y darse besos, mientras observaban el Lago, así como también dicen que anteriormente un gran árbol cubría la calle y muchas de las personas venían a realizar cosas indebidas, es por eso que este nombre se quedó enmarcado en el lugar pero más allá de esta creencia popular, que se conoce es un lugar fantástico.

Interestingly, this place is called Cerrito del Amor because many of the girls from the local secondary school, which is nearby, used to sneak off with the boys to come here and kiss, whilst gazing out at the lake. It is also said that, in the past, a large tree used to block the street and many people would come here to engage in inappropriate behaviour; that is why this name has become associated with the place. However, beyond this popular belief, it is widely recognised as a fantastic spot.

Desde esto punto se puede observar toda la majestuosidad del puente General Rafael Urdaneta así como también del Lago de Maracaibo entre otras industrias, más que hacen vida a orillas del Lago, el viento nos permite totalmente desconectarnos en un momento único, para contemplar agradecer y realizar una actividad totalmente diferente en medio de nuestra cotidianidad a cualquier hora que asistas vas a tener una vista simplemente única.

From this vantage point, you can take in the full majesty of the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge, as well as Lake Maracaibo and the various industries that thrive on its shores. The breeze allows us to completely switch off and enjoy a unique moment – to reflect, give thanks and engage in an activity that’s a welcome change from our daily routine. Whichever time of day you visit, you’re guaranteed a truly unique view.

Justamente visité el lugar y eran casi las 11:00 de la mañana me recordé cuando en una oportunidad vine con mi hermana a contemplar el amanecer, el sol salió bastante hermoso en otra oportunidad vine con mi sobrinas y mamá pero esa vez el clima se encontraba totalmente nublado, el sol no salió de la manera en que creía de diversas formas podemos tener vistas increíbles de este sitio, lo que me gusta del lugar es observar esa gran majestuosidad, única que nos ofrece el lago que también me permite relajarme cuando miro sus aguas.

I’d just visited the place and it was nearly 11.00 in the morning. I remembered when I once came here with my sister to watch the sunrise; the sun rose quite beautifully. On another occasion, I came with my nieces and my mum, but that time the weather was completely overcast, the sun didn’t rise the way I’d expected. In different ways, we can enjoy incredible views from this spot. What I love about the place is observing the sheer majesty and uniqueness that the lake offers, which also helps me relax when I gaze at its waters.

Por último fue un recorrido bastante increíble, fantástico lleno de mucha paz y autodesconexión, muchas gracias mis queridos amigos por leerme nos vemos en una próxima oportunidad me despido hasta pronto.
