A fun stroll around my town, a new square. | Un paseo divertido en mi ciudad, nueva plaza.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this lovely Lifestyle community on this lovely Friday, the start of the weekend.

Es un placer para mí saludarles en este día en esos momentos en los que salgo y tomó varias fotos por lugares de la ciudad, que no había conocido me permitó para poder conocer así como también aprender de la historia y disfrutar de nuevas sensaciones, colores, que ofrece la ciudad hasta poder analizar el ir al tráfico aquí en Maracaibo que realmente no es una aventura tan fascinante debido a las altas temperaturas de calor, que hace pero si es una experiencia que me gusta experimentar, vivir pese a que no sea lo más agradable trato de verle el lado positivo a todo quise tomar varias fotografías y espero que ustedes la puedan disfrutar.

It is a pleasure for me to greet you all today, at a time when I’ve been out and about taking various photos in parts of the city I hadn’t visited before. This has allowed me to discover the city, learn about its history and enjoy the new sensations and colours it has to offer, right down to observing the traffic here in Maracaibo which, to be honest, isn’t such a fascinating adventure due to the sweltering heat, but it is an experience I do enjoy having, and live through, even though it isn’t the most pleasant. I try to look on the bright side of everything; I wanted to take several photographs and I hope you’ll enjoy them.

Me dirigí justamente al final de la avenida libertador justamente en el inicio de la avenida Milagro en donde transitan todos los carros a lo largo de la misma para ir a visitar la plaza de Cristóbal Colón, pero curiosamente esta plaza lleva este nombre pero no rinde ningún tributo a él puesto que es solo puro nombre en su interior se puede encontrar una estatua que rinde tributo especial a la batalla de Carabobo, es bastante curioso que tenga el nombre de otra persona y se rinda otro tributo, incluso tiene algunas bancas en donde puedes sentarte, es bastante lindo el espacio solo que se encuentra muy desolado debido a la gran cantidad del sol es una zona muy comercial ya que se encuentra las paradas de varios carritos.

I headed straight to the very end of Avenida Libertador, right at the start of Avenida Milagro, where all the cars drive along it to visit the Plaza de Cristóbal Colón, but curiously, although the square bears his name, it pays no tribute to him at all, as it’s merely a name; inside, there’s a statue paying special tribute to the Battle of Carabobo. It’s quite odd that it’s named after one person but pays tribute to another; it even has a few benches where you can sit. it’s quite a lovely spot, though it feels rather desolate due to the intense sunshine; it’s a very commercial area as there are stalls run by various food carts.

Justamente en una esquina muy cerca de la plaza podemos encontrar la arquitectura impresionante que posee el banco agricola y pecario de estilo Art Deco este posee ciertas obras de arte en relieve que me gustan mucho, siempre me gustan las arquitecturas impresionantes clásicas, coloniales e incluso art deco, al ser un banco esta totalmente cerrado pero sin duda alguna me gusta mucho esta muy bien cuidado y es bastante bonito.

Right on a corner very close to the square, we can see the impressive Art Deco architecture of the Banco Agrícola y Pecario. It features some relief artwork that I really like; I’ve always been fond of impressive classical, colonial and even Art Deco architecture. As it’s a bank, it’s completely closed to the public, but I certainly like it very much it’s very well maintained and quite beautiful.

Al tomar la foto justamente nos regresamos y bastante cerca estaba la parada de los de las minivans de El Silencio y aproveché de tomarla junto con mi hermano inicialmente prácticamente yo estaba, sola con Alcides y mi hermano, en la vans luego la misma se estaba llenando mucho que incluso habían hasta personas parada dentro de la misma, por suerte mi hermano y yo nos ibamos quedar de primeros, estamos un poco acalorados en la vans, pero llegamos a casa después del recorrido.

Just as I took the photo, we turned back, and the stop for the El Silencio minibuses was quite close by, so I took the opportunity to take the photo with my brother. At first, it was practically just me, Alcides and my brother in the minibus, but then it started to fill up so much that there were even people standing inside it. Luckily, my brother and I were among the first to get off; we were feeling a bit hot in the minibus, but we made it home after the trip.
