I don't think that they are vengeful, they pee on stuff out of insecurity, that's why the bed or the sofa is a common target, because it smells of you. It's very frustrating too! My most nervous cat pees on the curtains near my bed

Hmm... How can I get rid of this bad habit? All sorts of sprays and other tricks don't help. Sometimes it's enough to leave the room for a couple of minutes, and there's already a fresh stain on the sofa. Although the cat seemed to have just been sleeping soundly
