Hello, my dear friends.
I've been in Itacaré for 13 days, a small town with the Rio de Contas to the north and the sea that forms beautiful beaches to the east.
Last Saturday, I went to Praia do Pontal, which is across the river. To do this, I went to the Itacaré shore where the boats are anchored and there you can catch a small boat that crosses to the other side of the river. It's a very short crossing and costs only R$10.00.

I spent around two hours on the beach, which is a peninsula formed between the river and the sea. If we walk to the other side of the peninsula, the beach meets the sea waves. But on this first visit, as I was accompanied, I ended up just staying on the side that borders the river.

The place is very pleasant and peaceful, few people go there. What would be a deserted beach scene if it weren't for the other side of the river on which the city is located.

The day was very hot, as is common in the region, and you can see that even the dog decided to cool off in the water.

In the photographs, we also notice some small boats coming and going, making the crossing, taking people for tour on the river or even small fishermen who make their living there.

Olá, meus queridos amigos.

Já fazem 13 dias que estou em Itacaré, uma cidadezinha a margem do Rio de Contas ao norte e pelo mar que forma belíssimas praias ao leste.
No sábado passado, fui conhecer a Praia do Pontal que fica atravessando o rio. Para isso fui até a orla de Itacaré onde ficam ancorados os barcos e ali mesmo pega se um barquinho que atravessa para o outro lado do rio. É uma travessia bem curta e custa apenas R$10,00.

Passei por volta de duas horas na praia, que é uma peninsula formada entre o rio e o mar. Se caminharmos até o outro lado do pontal, a praia se encontra com as ondas do mar. Mas nesta primeira visita, como estava acompanhado, acabei ficando apenas do lado que margeia o rio.

O local é muito agradavel e tranquilo, poucas pessoas frequentam. O que daria um cenário de praia deserta se não fosse pela outra margem do rio em que se encontra a cidade.

O dia estava muito quente, como é comum na região, e podem ver que até o cachorro resolveu se refrecar na água.

Nas fotografias, tambem notamos alguns pequenos barcos indo e vindo, fazendo a travessia, levando as pessoas para passeios no rio ou até mesmo pequenos pescadores que tiram seu sustento no local.
