I hope you are all well.

In today's photos, I bring a complement to what was the Jazz night at "Fábrica de Metais". Project by a dear friend, which combines the love of Jazz and swing, with the charms of the factory environment at the bar "A Fábrica - Working Bar".

The photographs convey the intimate atmosphere of the night, with a big band bringing lots of jazz and music to an attentive audience. Along with good music, a variety of craft beers, good drinks, and good food, intensified the joyful energy in the bar.

As I mentioned in my last post, it is an environment with a different proposal, so I chose not to use flash. I took the photographs with a 50mm lens with 1.8 aperture and used apertures between 2.0 and 3.5 and with high ISO to be able to have more speed when shooting. In some external images, I used bracketing, with 3 exposures, to obtain more details in the environment that contrasted very dark and very light areas.

In the band, the lighting was poor and the first line of members were in backlight while the second line had reasonable light. With this I focused more on the details, trying to tell a bit of the joy of the musicians performing on stage.

In the bar, the light was better and I was able to capture some portraits of the public as they tried to fill their beers and took the opportunity to chat and interact a bit.

It was a beautiful night, with good music and I hope you like the images.

Olá meus amigos, espero que estejam todos bem.
Nestas fotos de hoje, trago um complemento do que foi a noite de Jazz na "Fábrica de Metais". Projeto de um querido amigo, que une o amor ao Jazz e ao swing, com os encantos do ambiente de produção no bar "A Fábrica - Working Bar".

As fotografias transmitem o clima intimista da noite, com uma big band trazendo muito jazz e sonoridade para um publico atento. Junto a boa música, uma variedade de cervejas artesanais, bons drinks e boa comida, intensificaram a energia de alegria na fábrica.

Como comentei no meu ultimo post, por ser um ambiente com uma proposta diferente, optei por não utilizar flash. Fiz as fotografias com uma lente 50mm com abertura 1.8 e utilizei aberturas entre 2.0 e 3.5 e com ISO alto para poder ter mais velocidade no disparo. Em algumas imagens externas fiz uso de brackting, com 3 exposições, para conseguir mais detalhes no ambiente que contrastava áreas muito escuras e muito claras.

Na banda, a iluminação era pouca e a primeira linha de integrantes estava em contra luz enquanto a segunda linha tinha uma luz razoável. Com isso foquei mais nos detalhes, procurando com isso contar um pouco da alegria dos músicos performando no palco.

Já no bar a luz era melhor e com isso consegui alguns retratos do publico enquanto buscavam repor suas cervejas e aproveitavam para conversar e interagir um pouco.

Foi uma noite linda, de boa música e espero que gostem das imagens.
