You know you're in rural Ireland when this is your European polling station,

WEn't to cast my vote in the local and European elections this morning and this is what we had to look at. Lovely mountain views and the horses are a nice addition.

To be fair my house is nowhere as rural as this but our polling station is up the mountains a bit in a small derelict village. Not where i would have it but this has been the polling station for decades when it was still a thriving little village with school, shop and pub but those days are long gone now and things are slow to change.
