A family day out.

Kilkenny dinosaur park.

We had a nice family day out today. It was booked a long way in advance since the park is so busy but with the weather a bit wet this morning i think that a good few people stayed away.

We're built a bit tougher than that so rain or no rain we set off in the car this morning for a long drive to Kilkenny.

The park itself is not that big but our ids are 3-6 so it's ideal for their age.

All of the other families were on the same page with small kids, wellies and wetsuits the order of the day.

We started of in the giant bouncy castle and moved onto train rides, dinosaur shows and easter egg decorating.

Unfortunately one of the T-Rex got my youngest child but getting home with 1 out of 2 isn't too bad. I could have saved her but she does make a lot of noise in the car home.

It was all silly family fun but we had a great day out. Tired after all of the excitement but at least tomorrow is a day for me.

Pints of Guinness and Hurling is the line up for Sunday which is a lot more to my taste.
