Captivating Duck Portraits from My Lens

Hello everyone, It's a pleasure to be posting in the community for the first time. I've had these pictures for a while now but I've had a hard time deciding which community will be the best pick for this type of content. I visited this community to learn more about what goes and here. I read lots of posts and I liked them so I decided to put my content here.

A few days ago I was on my way to the market to get some stuff. It was very hot because the sun was out so I decided to use a short cut to get to the roadside.

This route was usually deserted because most students preferred to use the main road which I find to be a bit overcrowded sometimes. So, there’s this house along the way which I’ve always wanted to go to and explore. Anytime I pass there with my friend @yahuzah I tell him to ask for permission so we can check the place out. This is because the place is a mud house and I’ve never entered a mud house or hut before. I’ve heard a lot of stories about how it’s cold in there and all of that but I’ve never got the chance to witness it.

On this particular day I saw some kids playing in the house as I approached so I decided to get closer and see if I could have a good look at the place. In the compound the had some sort of clay pots in a corner but I don’t know what they contained. That was all that I saw. But something caught my eye right outside the house.

There were a raft of ducks walking around so I guessed they were owned by the owners of the house. I saw these two sitting peacefully under this tree like they were ready for a picture so I told them to say cheese for some shots. 😂

And so here they are posing for their pictures. I wasn’t able to get much shots because after a few tries they sort of got scared and run off. I think this is my second time coming this close to a duck. Where I come from, you hardly see some of these birds so I take my chances when I see them.lol.
