Visit beautiful temples in Malaysia and join in the merit-making ceremony celebrating Thai Songkran Day.

Hello dear friend.
How are you today everyone? Today in Malaysia, it's raining and thunderstorms. The weather is fine. My country starts Songkran Festival or Thai New Year celebrations from April 13 onwards. Therefore, I am a Thai person, even though I live in different countries. I too am excited and happy to be able to celebrate this Thai tradition. But because we live in different countries, it is very difficult to be able to play in the water or pour water for elders to ask for their blessings. So today I considered it an auspicious time, so I took my children to make merit at a Thai temple, which although it is very far from where I live, was not an obstacle at all. Today we woke up early in the morning to prepare to travel to a Thai temple earlier than usual.

Today the atmosphere at the temple is very bright. I thought it would rain like at my house. The hot sun makes taking pictures of the atmosphere around the temple even more beautiful. Around the shrine of the Four-Faced Brahma, Buddhists began to pay homage and ask for blessings. Some brought flowers or drinks to offer to the Four-Faced Brahma. Some of those who requested received success as expected. (This is the belief of each person.)

I saw that the area of the Four-Faced Brahma shrine had many elephant statues. I could tell that various people came to pay homage and pray for success in their desires, so when the time came to make offerings to them, Therefore, statues of elephants, which came in various sizes and the most striking ones were white and gold, were presented as offerings to complete the ceremony.
Today, when we arrived at the temple, it was a very good time because there were not many Buddhists coming to the temple. I prepared things to offer to the monks and brought drinking water. 1 pack to offer to monks. When we arrived at the temple, we went to pay our respects to the large Buddha image. Then we presented the things we had prepared to the monks and received their blessings to complete the ceremony. After that, I took my two daughters to make merit and give alms to the Buddha statues one by one until they were complete. After that, we took a few photos to capture the atmosphere inside the chapel to share with friends according to my personality. And when we came outside, my husband and I went to pay our respects to the four-faced Brahma shrine on the left side of the temple.

Today I feel happy that I brought my children to make merit. The children are happy to make merit and come out of the house at a time like this. Even though I live abroad, I try to teach my children about Thai culture and traditions. Whatever I can teach, they will listen and understand. As my children are children of two nationalities, raising them requires teaching both cultures for them to learn and absorb. Today I bring you the atmosphere of making merit at a Thai temple and the atmosphere around the temple and the beauty of the temple, the beauty of the arts and crafts that the temple has created beautifully. And the view of the natural surroundings that this temple is built on a small hill is not very high, so when we look from the front of the chapel to a wide field of vision, we can clearly see the beauty of this area. Thank you to all my friends who stopped by to read my articles and see these beautiful photos. I hope you all enjoy what I have to share today. Thank you for always following and giving good support.
Thank you very much everyone. Today I will take my leave for now. See you again in the next article. Goodbye.
