Peek-a-boo, little caterpillar, and the herbs from the backyard!

Hello, my lovely friends! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤ It's 7:30 a.m. after dropping the kids off. I didn't go for a run today; I plan to do aerobics at home, alternating with various types of exercise. My main concern is my neck, shoulders, and back, which are very sore and stiff from doing handicrafts that require sitting for too long. It's been raining a lot lately, the atmosphere is lovely. And then, naturally, some little friends started visiting. Some people might be afraid of them, but I'm indifferent, even though they've grown into large, dark green creatures with black eyes. But I still wouldn't dare touch them, haha!

The little caterpillar, I don't know when it arrived—in fact, it had been gone a very long time; I hadn't seen it. But after the rain, I started seeing it, eating the young, lush kaffir lime leaves that were receiving plenty of rainwater. Initially, I planned to go look at the kaffir lime fruits and flowers, and pick a few leaves to crush and release their fragrance. But then my eyes caught sight of many young kaffir lime leaves with missing pieces. So I looked closer to see what was happening. Ah, there it was! The little creature, motionless and hiding under the kaffir lime leaves. What helped me find it was the large pile of tiny droppings left on the leaves.

Numerous small, dark green to almost black lumps stuck to the kaffir lime leaves helped me find the little caterpillar. I didn't do anything to them, leaving them there, planning to wait until they grew larger and turned dark green. We have plenty of kaffir lime leaves at home, so there's no need to be stingy. If the little caterpillar wants to eat, let it have its fill. (θ‿θ)

The kaffir lime flower is emitting a delicate fragrance. If the petals wither and fall, they will transform into small kaffir lime fruits. Look at the leaves around it; they have many notches and grooves, caused by the gnawing of tiny caterpillars that will soon grow. All living things cherish their own lives, so I didn't intend to harm it and let it continue to grow.

And the last picture is of a growing kaffir lime fruit, shiny green and full of beneficial properties. We have one tree at home. I mostly like to slice it thinly and put it in the bathroom or in enclosed spaces because it gives off a fresh, pleasant scent. Even the leaves can be used in cooking and have medicinal properties. Now, friends, let's follow along and see how big my little caterpillar will grow, if it doesn't get eaten by a little bird first! Thankyou friends for stopping by and reading this article.
