P'J Chicken Rice in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Hello everyone, this weekend we woke up early and planned what to eat..and today we will go to Peteling Jaya which takes about 1 hour to get there. This place is near the center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Two days ago my husband searched for restaurants on the internet and found many Thai restaurants in this area. P' J restaurant looks very delicious. This is from the pictures taken on the website. So when it's a holiday, we will go and try some delicious food. Let's see if it's worth the trip. Then we took a shower, got dressed and went out to the restaurant that we decided to try today. And I think breakfast and lunch will definitely be combined into one meal. There were some parts of the road where there was quite a lot of traffic, but it didn't matter, we got on the expressway and went into the city area. When driving into this area, there were many condo and apartment buildings, each floor was over 20 meters high, which is understandable because this area is an area of people who are considered quite wealthy. And it is an area of working people. When I got there, it was past noon and the place was full of customers, but the menu had less than 10 items to choose from, which I thought was just right. There were only a few types of drinks.
Here, there will be fried chicken rice, steamed chicken rice, stir-fried chicken with basil, lava eggs, squid lava egg rice, stir-fried shrimp with basil and lava eggs. These are the famous menus of this restaurant that we ordered to try. In addition, we also ordered a glass of iced milk tea. The iced milk tea here has a rich and creamy taste but is not too sweet. From what I have observed, people here do not drink sweet drinks much, unlike Thai people who like them very sweet. In addition, there are herbal drinks, which are lemongrass and pandan leaves. Today, we chose to drink fragrant pandan leaves. Drinking it in the evening is very refreshing. It can be said that it is another good herbal drink for the body. But the bad thing is that we drink it in the evening.
And the taste of each dish is as delicious as its reputation. Which makes you think that you are eating at a Thai restaurant that is actually located in Thailand. The shop is decorated like a cart selling chicken rice in the morning market. And the name sign is written in Thai. At first, when I walked in, I thought, hey, is this place in Malaysia or Thailand? Haha.
After we finished eating, we went to pay at the counter for all the things we ordered. The total price was 60 ringgit, which is not too expensive for a meal for 4 people. After that, we took the kids to go shopping in a small shopping mall not too far away. It could be called a walk to digest the food before we went back home. Actually, we only intended to eat Thai food, but the kids didn't want to go home yet because it was a holiday today, so we had to go for a walk. When we got home, it was exactly 6 pm. When we got there, we found a story to write for our friends to read. I hope my friends enjoyed my article today.
