My story today involved taking my little one to two hospitals.

Hello, my lovely friends..."Good health is the greatest blessing"—this is absolutely true... This morning, school was closed, so I thought I'd enjoy a slow-paced life and not have to rush out of bed early. Then I remembered I have to take my youngest daughter to another hospital, one that doesn't specialize in heart disease. So, today's story begins in the early morning. At 6 a.m., I woke up while my children were still sleeping soundly in bed. I saw them hurriedly doing the housework, and then drove to the morning market to buy food and bread for my trip to the hospital this morning. The market today had quite a lot of things for sale, but there weren't many people because it was still very early in the morning. I bought the food I needed and then drove back home. The morning air was quite cool, and before leaving home, I didn't forget to put on a thick jacket because I know I get cold easily...hehe.

At 7:30 a.m., I woke the children up to shower, get ready, and go down to eat the breakfast we bought this morning. Then, at 9:00 a.m., we set off for the hospital for our appointment. The drive usually takes about an hour if there's no traffic, but today, halfway there, we encountered a very long traffic jam. It took us almost 30 minutes to get out of it. This caused us to arrive at the hospital almost 30 minutes late. There were many people receiving treatment because it's a government hospital.

Upon arrival, I presented my appointment slip and received a queue number to wait in front of the examination room, which currently had a moderate number of patients—not too many and not too few. Soon, a nurse called my daughter in to weigh herself, check her blood pressure, and then she was asked to wait to see the doctor. My daughter has been coughing and having phlegm for almost two weeks, and I've given her medication to manage her symptoms. However, I'm secretly worried because she had similar symptoms before and had to be hospitalized for a week due to a lung infection.

After seeing the doctor, we went home as it was a routine checkup. However, because we weren't entirely relieved, we took our daughter to another hospital nearby where she had a history of being admitted before. The doctor there performed a blood test, a COVID test, and had my daughter inhale a disinfectant gas...

In addition, the doctor also directed us to another clinic that required my daughter's sputum for testing... I'm quite satisfied with the government hospitals in Malaysia. They conducted very thorough tests, including a chest X-ray for my daughter because she previously had mycoplasma and influenza A. Therefore, the check-ups were very detailed. And that's my story for today. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to read my article and for your continued support. See you again in the next article. Bye-bye!
