Daily activities and going shopping to prepare to make merit at a Thai temple tomorrow.

Hello all everyone.
How is everyone today? As for me and my family, we are still fine. It's approaching April 13, which is the Thai New Year's Day or Songkran Festival. This year, my children and I did not go back to Thailand to visit family. But we have made arrangements to go make merit at a Thai temple in Malaysia. April is usually the beginning or family day for Thais where children and grandchildren who go to work in other provinces will come back to live together together during this festival.

So today at 3:00 p.m. my husband and I took the children to Econsave Department Store. In order to buy things that will be used for making merit tomorrow. In fact, here it is also New Year's Day for our Malay brothers and sisters. The department store is very quiet today. I choose to buy things that have meaning to be used to make merit tomorrow, such as water. When we offer it to the monks at the temple, this drinking water can be used to make merit, such as when the temple has a merit making event. When people go to help with work at the temple, they can drink the water that we offer to them, which is considered merit as well. Dry food snacks, each one I choose to offer I have already thought about its benefits.

After purchasing the items. We went to eat roti at a small restaurant not too far from the department store. When we arrived, we could see that there were many customers. We chose a table that was a little far away from people because some people smoked. I was very worried about my youngest daughter's health. Because she had a leaky heart that needed treatment. We can only observe your child's symptoms and provide basic care. So I had to consider my youngest daughter's safety most of all. Once we had chosen our seats, we each ordered a plate of roti. The kids liked the tissue roti, which my daughter really liked because it was crispy and sprinkled with sugar. After we finished eating, we all went home. And this is our small activity today.
