Torres del Silencio -- Caracas (En/Es) | PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography
In this post I share a photo of the buildings popularly known as “Las Torres del Silencio” (“The Towers of Silence” in English) located in Caracas. These are one of the most iconic constructions of the Venezuela during the decade of the 50’s. At that moment they were the tallest buildings of the country.
This photo was taken from the “Plaza Caracas” with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20 with the 0.5x lens, which gives an equivalent focal length of 13mm in the full frame format. The edition was done in Gimp.
La fotografía que muestro hoy es del complejo arquitectónico conocido popularmente como “Las Torres del Silencio”, ubicado en el centro de Caracas. Es una de las joyas de la arquitectura de los años cincuenta de Venezuela, y para el momento de su inauguración fue el edificio más alto del país.
La toma fue realizada desde la Plaza Caracas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S20 usando el lente de 0.5x que da una distancia focal equivalente de 13mm en el formato de 35mm. La edición se hizo en Gimp.
