Machas (En/Es) | PhotoFeed Contest - Black and White Photography

“Machas” are a species of clams that grows on the coasts of Peru and Chile, and it is an ingredient of the local cuisine. Here I show a photo of these mollusks taken in a market.
The images are shown in two black and white versions and in color. The monochromatic format enhances the textures. The post-processing was done in GIMP, and the photo was captured with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Machas son una especie de almejas propias de las costas de Perú y Chile, que se usan mucho en la cocina local. Aquí muestro una foto de este molusco tomada en un mercado.
Las imágenes se muestran en dos versiones en blanco y negro y una en color natural. El formato monocromático realza las texturas. Se utilizó GIMP en el procesamiento de las imágenes, y la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
