Centro Simón Bolívar - Caracas (En/Es)
This photo shows one of the underground passages of the “Simón Bolívar Center” in Caracas. The famous “Torres del Silencio” are located above it. This architectonic work is of large spaces, and it is one of the icons of the architecture of the 50s in Venezuela. Note the large marble columns.
The photo is shown in three different chromatic versions: with selective desaturation of the colors, natural colors, and black and white. It was taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20 ,and the post-processing was done in GIMP.
Esta foto muestra el pasaje subterráneo del Centro Simón Bolívar (Caracas), donde están las Torres del Silencio. Esta obra arquitectónica de grandes dimensiones, es uno de iconos de la arquitectura de la década de los años cincuenta en Venezuela. Noten el gran espacio que tine esta ambiente subterráneo y con sus columnas de mármol.
La fografía se muestra en tres formatos cromáticos diferentes: en desaturación selectiva, colores naturales y blanco y negro. Se utilizó la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy s20 y GIMP como software de edición.

This architecture from the '50s with those immense marble columns is incredibly impressive 🙌 Seeing the selective color and the black and white next to the natural one truly highlights the geometry and scale of the Caracas landmark 💕
