The historic port of Antofagasta is a pier where the nitrate and the guano was shipped, during the 19th century and early 20th century. These products were the main production of this desert area of the north of Chile. Currently this pier is preserved as historic and touristic attraction.
In the present post I share a series of photos in colour and black and white, of a view of the port and the bay, taken at the sunset.

The photos were taken with the camera of a Samsung Galaxy S20 and edited in Gimp.

El Puerto histórico de Antofagasta es un muelle donde en el siglo XIX y principio del XX se embarcaba y exportaba el salitre y guano, que era la principal producción de esta zona desértica del norte de Chile. Hoy en día este muelle se conserva como un elemento turístico e histórico.
En la presente publicación comparto una serie de fotografías en color y blanco y negro de una vista de este muelle, durante un atardecer, además se aprecia las tranquilas aguas de la bahía.

Las fotos fueron tomadas con la cámara de un Samsung Galaxy S20 y editadas en Gimp.
