Antofagasta Street Art (En/Es)
In this new post of my series about the street art of Antofagasta (Chile), I show a beautiful and very colorful mural. Its lettering is stylized and the subject of the painting is a bit baffling. As you can see, its central figure is a can of spray paint, which was anthropomorphized, and it carries a couple of bags having plenty of money. Does the message of the author say that being a street artist is a way of getting rich?
I captured the images with the camera of my cell phone a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. They were post-processed in Gimp.
En este nueva publicación de mi serie sobre el arte urbano de Antofagasta, presento un mural bastante bonito y muy colorido, que tiene un lettering muy estilizado y un tema un poco desconcertante. Como pueden ver la figura central es una lata de pintura de aerosol, que ha sido antropomorfizada y lleva unas carteras repletas de dinero. Con ello, ¿el artista nos quiere decir que ser pintor de arte urbano es una forma de hacerse rico?
Para captar estas imágenes utilicé la cámara de mi celular un Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra y usé Gimp en la edición.
