After this introduction I would like to share my photos from today. The day was cloudy, but warm. I was curious what I would see in the park and first was the female Syrian woodpecker.

From all the woodpeckers I have spotted in the park, the Syrian is always there. Others, like Great Spotted or Green woodpecker, seemed to be gone or perhaps I miss them while I am in the park.

There were many greenfinches flying from one tree to another. Too many branches made it hard to get a clear shot.

Just in front of me the crow took a twig from another tree. Very cautious while moving not to drop it on the ground. And flew basically inches away from my nose.

Later on I saw piece of pizza left on the bench. The seagull was after it, so was a crow.

How can one resist the pizza?

Everyone pinched a piece, but more seagulls arrived and chased the one with the pizza in the beak.

It all happened so quickly, the pizza was gone. Makes me wonder, whoever left it, did he or she thought about the birds? 🤔

And that's all for now. Don't forget to check the links in the beginning of the post.

I think someone left a piece of pizza for the birds on purpose

Most likely. Seagulls and crows wouldn't think twice when there is free bufet. 😀

Cool photos! Gray crows collect branches not only to build a nest, but also throw them at someone they consider a danger 😄 Be careful!
The seagull and the crow shared the pizza equally, how cute!

This time the crow did not think I am threatening, but yes, you are right, one can be careful.
