Sunflowers and Stars
After recenty visiting the Sunflower Field in Barlow a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to do some more creative edits. So below are 2 edits using these pictures merged with two of my images from Mount Teide, I don't know how many years ago now, but I want to go back lol!
I hope you like these. As above all of the original shots are mine, but these are composite shots..
Actually, and this is an after thought I am going to include the individual shots below to show transparency. I used to enjoy ding composites like this a lot but haven't done any for a while. My rule with this kind of thing is to always try and be gentle, as often to make something look real, less is more, so don't over process. So these are created using layer masks, gradients, and gently building up the opcacity of the layers so as not to look to over processed. I hope that comes across :) ..
And below for the second image..
As a photographer I try to mix what I do in my shots, I've done still life, some macro work, lightpainting and I enjoy a good model shoot. If you'd like to check out any of my other work I'm on Facebook, or you can find me on Instagram under neilru75
Thanks very much for looking
Kind Regards, Neil
Looks like it was taken on an other planet
I think the composites turned out really cool. I am surprised more photographers don't use this technique. Cheers bro!
