Today I want to resume my usual reviews of my purchases of new coffees, although I have bought several since the last time I shared the review of IMI coffee, so I bring you this San Salvador coffee with its slogan "aroma and flavor that captivate your senses". It is a gourmet type coffee, with an intense roast and fine grinding, its beans are 100% Arabica, it has a presentation of 200 and 500 ground beans and 1 kilogram in whole beans, produced in Venezuela, Araure, Portuguesa State, by Alimentos BOTALÓN C.A., located in Prolongación de la Avenida #32, Centro Agroindustrial BOTALÓN, its packaging is half black and silver color, is very striking, looks elegant, In the following links you can get better information about it, preparation, among others, Instagram

It has a pleasant aroma to smell, which activates the senses, its flavor is acceptable, but I like the flavor that is felt on my palate, most of the coffees that come from the state of Portuguesa, are good, they wake you up in the morning with its good aroma and flavor, everyone has their own way of preparation, to me in particular, I have made it very clear that I like it strong Espresso style and without sugar, I made a preparation with coconut milk, and it is sensational, it is more tolerable than regular milk, although if you ask my children, they will tell you that powdered milk is their favorite and it tastes better, they do not like the taste of coffee with coconut milk, they miss it.

I had seen this coffee on several occasions, but I had not decided to take it with me, until once I saw it in the supermarket in Cumaná, I said today I will take you to try it, and so I did, when I arrived home as it was early, I put water to boil, when it boiled, I immediately began my brew, I was impatient to try it, the aroma had already captivated me, during the day I had already had two large cups of coffee, so I set out with my husband and we drank it in the small aluminum cups that we have, I used it in a coffee conversation, I loved the taste on my palate. The next day, I got up to prepare the famous negrito Espresso and for breakfast to prepare the one with milk, for my children and husband, full milk and for me with coconut milk, I had to prepare an additional cup, it was good with coconut flavored milk.

There was something that I liked about the packaging of the coffee, that has this important information that as good coffee lovers, we should take into account, I hope that this information is very useful to you, this information was very useful to me, from that day on, I keep my coffee in the freezer, to conserve the smell and flavor, without much to talk about this is the information on the back of the packaging, with respect to the conservation of the coffee:

Before opening: Keep the product in a cool, dry place, free of strong odors.
After opening: Keep the product in an airtight container in the refrigerator to preserve its flavor and aroma for a longer period of time.

Here in Venezuela, most of the coffees have an aroma that makes you fall in love, this one made me fall in love a little bit, but it is not the right one for me, I will continue in my search for the best elixir. I hope you will also look for yours, if you don't have it yet. That's all for now.

Hey, nice to see you again! You seem to have bought a pleasant and quite drinkable coffee! It’s good that you buy local almost all the time, if I was living in a coffee producing country, probably I would do that too. 😁

I have watched a video about storing coffee in refrigerator and I remember that after all it turned out that there is no great difference. More important is to keep the beans, or ground coffee, in an airtight container. This will surely keep the beans fresh for longer. And for a real coffee lover, I think you shouldn’t worry about leaving your coffee for long period of time, after opening it, because it keeps on decreasing quite fast. 😁

Yes, the coffee is quite nice, I would assume that if you lived here, you would drink local coffee, there are several good ones.

I did it like this, I keep it in a container that does not enter currents of air, I think the suggestion comes, because of the heat waves that there are in these sides, Or is it like they say, there is no difference.

No he tenido la oportunidad de probar ese café que muestras en las imágenes, por está región "Sello Rojo" y "Amanecer" son las marcas que más abundan el mercado local... la cafetera me recordó a una que teníamos en el liceo que tristemente la hurtaron y desde entonces dejamos de tomar café en las tardes.
