Well, I did enjoy it in my morning, I had to stop very early, I had to fulfill several pending at the school where I work, then go for a breast ultrasound, the results were not 100% encouraging, life goes on, the tests that are in them, we have to continue with the best positive attitude possible, the good thing is that the cysts are small, with the exception of one that is the biggest one, I have a consultation on the 15th of this month to see what the doctor suggests, I am afraid that because of the cysts in both breasts, I will be deprived of drinking my favorite drink, I will have to negotiate even if it is a small cup daily, I will have to seriously think of a plan B, just in case 🤭😅. Meanwhile I will continue to enjoy my coffee, of course without abusing it, knowing that my cysts are back again.

I arrived at the Punta del Este clinic at 9 am, the consultation itself was at 10:30 am, the doctor had not yet arrived, she attends here on a first come, first served basis, which I was patient number 6, the process of performing echoes in different parts of the body takes time, it is not the first time I see this doctor, she has a good habit of dedicating time to study your area to be examined and besides that she gives you the result of the study at once.

The truth was, I had a sweet wait, not to say a long wait or something else bad sounding, the hours passed, already at noon, I was sleeping 😄, nodding off from time to time 🤭😅, I felt sorry for the man next to me, I do not know if he snored🤣, I woke up, since the lady in charge of the cleaning, knocked on the door of the office, since she was bringing a coffee to the doctor, I was enlightened when I saw the coffee, It was as if I had seen the glory, I immediately asked where I could get one, she indicated me in the cafetín, it is like a kind of soda fountain that sells a little bit of everything, very nice by the way and indicated me how to access the place, inside the clinic, a super fast shortcut, since it has an entrance through the main part of the clinic, that way it was going to take longer to get there, I thanked her infinitely.

I went to the café, although it was small, it had air conditioning, a TV, some pictures decorating the walls, some tables with chairs and others with benches, they have a breakfast menu of sandwiches, empanadas, arepas, tequeños, natural juices, soft drinks, commercial games; they also offer snacks, lunches of the day, they only offer small Espresso coffee or Black as we say here in Venezuela, plus some candy, among other services.

When I saw the clothes to make the coffee in that soda fountain, the world came uphill for me, I have many years without drinking coffee made in an electric coffee maker, I felt I had no other option to choose, either I would drink it or I would fall asleep 😄, so I had to put my pride aside and ask for a cup, which I asked to drink it right there, since they have plastic cups to take away, I did not even drink in a plastic cup, the taste changes drastically, They served me the coffee that was already made for I don't know how many hours, the truth is that when they served me the cup I didn't have any more, I was relaxing, I didn't notice that the cup was not the ideal size for a small Espresso, with the desire that they served it to me, I asked them to please give it to me with a plate, I was paying the attendant, while the employee put the cup on the counter, I was shocked.

When the plate was handed to me, I sat at one of the tables in the middle, behind me was a staff of the clinic having lunch, I did not pay much attention and started to take some pictures, taking advantage that the coffee was still hot, then the girl interrupted me to hand me a cookie on a napkin, I took it as I should, with the best possible attitude, I wanted to be alert, I was thankful that at least the coffee was pure as I like it, they didn't even offer me sugar, nor did I ask for it, since I drink my coffee without sugar, the flavor is better appreciated, I also have a good impression of the cookie, it was delicious, it tasted like butter and milk, it was an exquisite touch combined with the coffee.

I enjoyed the coffee with the cookie, I will not deny it, I wanted a second coffee, but there was no more, when I almost finished my coffee, in my last sip, I found that I had organic matter from the same coffee, that is noticeable when the electric coffee maker does not have a filter and it goes through the tiny hole, particles of ground grains, which are present in the coffee, as a kind of a very fine grit at the bottom of the cup, Obviously I did not drink it, it felt strange, I remained calm, I did not want to claim anything, I evaluated myself, I wanted a result and I got it, my dream disappeared, my taste buds were happy and my mouth had a good taste of coffee, I had what I was looking for, I reflected that the rest was a waste of time and vitality, I preferred to see the positive side, continue in harmony with myself and wait my turn to the consultation. I think it was the best attitude I could have taken, and you, what would you have done in my place?
