"Kot Brahmani Temple: A Divine Pilgrimage Site"
Hello friends, I hope you all are fine and everything is fine and your life is going well.
Kot Bhramari Mata is a famous temple in Bageshwar, Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhramari, who is also worshipped along with Nanda Devi. The temple is situated on a hill near Dangoli, 3 km from Baijnath in Garud Tehsil.Just like I had told you about Baijnath temple in my old post, similarly friends I would like to tell you something about Kot Bhramari Mata.Friends, after hearing how famous this temple of Mata Rani is, I had earlier gone to my cousin's place in Bageshwar with my sister, from where we went to visit Baijnath, Kot Bhramari Mata and Kausani.Seeing the view there, my heart felt relaxed and my mind got peace by seeing Mata Rani.
As you all know that Uttarakhand is called “Devbhoomi” which means “Land of Gods” because here are located many ancient and sacred temples, pilgrimage sites and places of religious importance, which are associated with various gods in Hindu mythology. And in Uttarakhand, every auspicious work is done by remembering God first. And friends, Goddess Bhramari and Nanda Devi are worshipped in this temple. And it is said that Goddess Bhramari killed a demon Arun, who used to commit atrocities in this area.In this way, Mata Rani was established here. And people started worshiping Mata Rani a lot. Friends, it is said that this temple is also worshiped as the family deity of Katyuri and Chand kings.

And friends, when we went there, we came to know from the priest that a puja and a bhog of Mata Rani has been organized on 27th July in which we were also being asked to participate, but we had to leave from there the next day, so we gave Rs. 1000 for the bhog that was organized there. And then we left from there and headed towards Kausani. And our journey went something like this.
Friends, by looking at the photo of Mata Rani, you all must be thinking that how in our culture Mata Rani is adorned with jewellery and how her place is decorated by applying flowers and sandalwood to Mata Rani's jewellery. And the mother queen is worshipped.
very nice to know about uttarakandh. Nice pictures also... I love these cultural post, especially from where my grand grand parents came from.
Thankyou 🥰
