Focus Your Needlework - Week 1 Winners Announced!

Last week we announced our new challenge Focus Your Needlework.

We are challenging our members to better focus their needlework by enhancing the photography of their projects and being creative in how they display them.

Each week during the challenge our team will choose the top submissions we feel put in the best effort on their project photography. We will announce each set of winners every Monday for the duration of the challenge (the last winner’s announcement will be on June 26th).

Last week we had only one entry which is to be expected with the type of effort we are asking of you. From what we’ve already seen submitted today it is evident that people are taking their time and giving this their best go.

We are so excited from the growth that will come from this!!

I especially loved the closeup photos she focuses in on towards the end of her post. They are clear, well lit and you can see the details of her stitch work.
