The first place I visited during my holiday at the end of 2023 was Sadeng Beach, Gunung Kidul, Indonesia
Hello everyone, did you have a happy end of year? Have you made an agenda for this New Year's holiday? I'm currently in my hometown on holiday.
I came to visit my parents and siblings in the village. We haven't seen each other for half a year, coincidentally it was the end of year holidays and school holidays so we decided to go home.
I really miss my family, I am very grateful because I still have the opportunity and time to visit my parents' house.
That day I woke up at 07.00 WIB, I left in a hurry because I overslept and had to go to the beach to buy fish.
I went with my uncle, children, father and mother. They said they wanted to go to the beach to walk and buy fish.
The situation in this village is quite worrying, the dry season has been going on for quite a long time and many farmers are complaining about the drought, and it is very difficult to find animal feed. It should have been the rainy season at the end of the year, but until now it hasn't rained.
Many farmers planted seeds in their fields such as rice and bean seeds, they hoped that rain would fall soon and the plants would grow well, but what the farmers hoped for did not come true. Farmers are worried because they cannot grow crops in their fields. They are worried that one day food prices will become more expensive due to the impact of drought.
This drought occurred very evenly, almost all regions felt its impact.
The weather was also very hot, even though it was still early in the morning, around 08.00 I arrived at this beach. As usual, when I go home I always come to Sadeng Beach to buy fish.
After parking the car, I went straight to the fish market to shop. Inside the market was quite quiet, there were only a few traders and buyers.
I saw many types of fish such as mackerel, mackerel, sardines and tuna, there were also squid and I wanted to buy them. The price of fish is currently quite cheap.

I bought several kilos of fish of two different types, I also bought squid. I was satisfied because the fish and squid were very large and fresh.
After buying the fish I took a photo to immortalize this moment.
The weather was very sunny which made the pictures I took look good. I never get bored of coming here, apart from being able to buy fish at cheap prices, the view is also very beautiful.
This beach is still empty of visitors, before New Year this beach is usually very busy. Maybe because I came too fast so the beach still looked deserted.
