The Fabulous Bond and Adventure at Siocon's Pride

How lovely was this day; a wonderful day to be cherished, another stunning place to be explored and another adventure to be shared for this 1-day trip full of remarkable memories reconnecting with nature and quality time with my kid.

In my previous blogs, I mentioned Rixie Mae as my travel buddy. The same scenario was happening. I grabbed the motorcycle key, and our helmets for safer travel, and off we went to Siocon, Bogo City, Cebu. Now, I'm going to share our incredible journey as a mother and daughter being travelers.

Our Virtual Tour of Stupendous Siocon's Pride

The moment we arrived here, my eyes widened and I was in awe gazing at the seaside. This place is a small barangay that belongs to Bogo, the City's jurisdiction where fishing is one of the sources of living. However, being here brought us to a world far from noise and pollution. I forgot momentarily about my daily hustle and have thrown away all my wearies as I immersed myself in this fantastic view of nature.

As seen, the solemn and secluded area bewitched me to proceed and to take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to scrutinize its splendid sea. It was perfect timing as it was low tide. My smile reached my ears 😄 because for the first I can explore and can discover what lies ahead.

The Parade of Pump Boats

My attention was allured by how these pump boats were tied tightly at the shore due to the low tide. I was automatically tempted to take shots as they were set amazingly. Some were positioned in shady areas while others were exposed to the scorching heat of the sun.

The Scenic Shaggy Mangroves

Who wouldn't be enticed by the enchanting mangroves around? Another amazing scene that is purely natural is waving which can be mesmerizing. Their appearances are pretty spectacular. Since they are numerous, I got the chance to compare their characteristics. I never hesitated to climb this biggest mangrove so I can enjoy the overlooking view of the sea.

The Queen of Mangroves

The invigorating thing that I have done in this adventure was the fun walk amid the mangroves. Knowing that they are waterlogged tropical plants, the tendency to slip definitely will happen if I will not be careful. What I did, I walk above the firm roots so I will not be soaked by the muddy soil and away from being slipped. I was having a good time here.

The Beachcombing

Happiness overload is waiting during low tide for the locals as beachcombing can be done. They were having fun when they faithfully picked some seashells and placed them on the pails they prepared. Fresh and nutritious viand for dinner will be served.

The Awaited

We happily waited for the sun to set so we can watch it together but sadly it was in the opposite direction. Instead, we patiently waited the evening for the moon to show. Great! It was a success!

It was indeed a significant weekend, making great things happen with my child. Someday, the time will come that she will be entering puberty and will no longer go with me. She will indulge herself in the world of teens, with another set of companies. The way I cherish
the moment of reconnecting with nature with her is one of a kind. Days pass, the sun sets and the moon takes over may the bonds that we spent together will be treasured forever in her heart.
